Richardson Sports has served the team sports market upon a foundation of authenticity, reliability, and an unmatched passion for quality since 1970. Today we're recognized as a leader in the sports product industry, delivering performance-inspired headwear to millions of athletes around the world. While team baseball caps are our core business, we also produce headwear for the corporate promotional industry, specialty retail, collegiate licensed market, and private label brands.

We understand that caps are for more than just shielding the sun. They're for tossing in the air in celebration, throwing to the ground in disgust, and sometimes even hiding the tears of defeat. It's part of your adventure, because it's the last thing you grab when you're heading out the door, and the first thing you take off when you're done playing. We believe the perfect cap is all about fit and comfort, and most importantly it’s about expression.

As a second-generation family-owned business we are guided by simple values. Our father started R.J Roberts in 1972 when he saw a need to deliver quality workwear and uniforms to the automotive industry. He worked hard and he always believed in going the extra mile for his staff, customers, and friends. We literally grew up in the business and watched it evolve from a small office in Detroit, Michigan to a company that now supplies almost 9,000 franchise/independent dealerships and mid-sized companies nationwide.

We are proud of our Midwest family roots and the family focused company R.J. Roberts & Co. remains today. Although our father's life was cut short when he was only 57, my brother Scott and I take great pride in working alongside each other everyday along with our dedicated staff.

Today R.J. Roberts & Co. employs over 150 staff and operates out of its 100,000 square foot South Florida distribution center and is currently planning its South Carolina distribution center expansion. With now almost 50 years in the industry, we are proud to continue to operate as a family-owned business that cares about its customers, staff, and communities.
